PHUKET, THAILAND — MontAzure, the spectacular mixed-use development on Phuket’s sunset coast, has reached a series of milestones demonstrating the positive long-term future of the real estate market on the island despite the existing Covid-19 situation.

Covering 72 hectares of mountain to beachfront land at Kamala Bay, MontAzure is the first integrated lifestyle destination in Thailand. It comprises luxury residential, hospitality, retail and wellness from brands such as Accor’s MGallery Collection, Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts, InterContinental Hotel Group (IHG), Café del Mar and Twinpalms.

MGallery Residences MontAzure Lakeside recently passed its Environmental Impact Assessment, reflecting how the stylish development has been designed in harmony with nature. Since its opening last year, Accor’s first MGallery Residences project in Thailand has received strong interest from buyers.

At present, MGallery Residences MontAzure Lakeside is offering a package including a specially priced unit, a complimentary stay valid for one year at one of MontAzure’s hospitality destinations, and, most importantly, a 100-percent refund for three months after the unit is purchased. It’s the first time MontAzure offers such a perk because it’s currently difficult to visit the site but also because the company is confident that buyers will quickly confirm their investment thanks to the quality of its product. There is also a furniture package that enables all residents to equip their property to the same standards as MGallery hotels.

MGallery Residences MontAzure Lakeside offers 236 studios and residences, a series of pools, a restaurant, pool bar, fitness centre and clubhouse, all nestled amongst landscaped gardens and lakes. The project recently won a trio of titles at the latest Thailand Property Awards.

As for Twinpalms Residences MontAzure, the project has enjoyed a series of successes since it officially opened in 2019. It marked the start of 2020 by reaching THB 200 million (approx. US$ 6.17 million) in terms of total units sold in February. Only a small number of suites and penthouses are still available, and Twinpalms Residences MontAzure, a member of the elite Small Luxury Hotels of the World, expects all to be sold this year.

The grand opening of InterContinental Phuket Resort was also held earlier this year, offering 221 rooms, suites and villas, plus restaurants and world-class leisure facilities and event spaces. This will soon be joined by Mövenpick Hotel Kamala Beach Phuket, part of Accor’s stable of brands, which has already broken ground at MontAzure.

“MontAzure continues to progress ahead of schedule as we work towards the completion of Thailand’s first integrated luxury lifestyle destination. With every milestone we reach, we are creating new opportunities for clients to make life-changing investments, supported by the hospitality industry’s biggest brands,” said Setthaphol Boottho, Executive Director of MontAzure.

“Of course, COVID-19 is having an impact on all of us and our thoughts go firstly to the people affected by it. However, we will rethink and reinvent Thailand’s tourism and real estate sectors and I am confident we will make a full recovery and come back stronger than ever,” he added.

As an active member of the Kamala local community, MontAzure donated N95 masks to the medical staff of the newly built Phuket City Hall Hospital. The company also distributed water and milk powder for young kids around Kamala. MontAzure will continue to support the nation’s heroes and will repeat this initiative again in the near future.

MontAzure was created by subsidiaries of three of the most prestigious real estate groups in Asia: The Narai Group (Thailand), Arch Capital (Hong Kong) and Philean Capital (Singapore), part of Pontiac Land Group. For more information, please visit www.montazure.com
