Bangkok, 25 February 2016 – NEC Thailand successfully held its first external Smart IT Solutions Day on 12 Feb at the Amata Spring Country Club. The event attracted over 100 participants from 47 companies from the Thailand-based Japanese manufacturing sector who got to see and experience a wide range of NEC’s IT and network solutions covering from front to back office.
Some of the NEC solutions on showcase were: Digital Signage solutions, Smart Meeting Room Solutions, Retail (eg. e-money for Canteen Solution, Point-Of-Sale for Stock Solution); Network Solutions featuring the latest Software-Defined Networking, Server & Security Room, among others.
The live demo sessions, simulated in a factory condition, allowed NEC Thailand to engage customers on a personal level and showcase how its portfolio of innovative products and solutions can help businesses improve manufacturing operations, manage IT and energy costs, and gain market competitiveness.

NEC Thailand plans to hold the next IT Solutions roadshow at Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate on June 2016.
